1. No godmodding/godmoding/power playing/whatever other terms are used for it. This means no doing anything to any characters that you don't have permission to do. For a longer definition of this, go on over here for more.

2. Be respectful to the moderators. We do our best to be respectful to you, so to have that in return would be lovely.

3. Respect your fellow player. If a new player hops on board, make them feel welcome. Don't bully your fellow player, and abide by the common courtesy that is RP etiquette.

4. Keep OOC happenings OOC, and IC happenings IC. [OOC = Out of Character. IC = In Character.] Just because conflict arises in one, it should not effect the other. Just because a character is nasty to yours, that doesn't mean the player hates you.

5. IC Actions = IC Consequences. If your character does something asinine/evil/etc during gameplay, expect characters to react. Likewise, if someone does something that warrants response, negatively or positively, make sure to have your kids react as is IC to them.

6. Smut does not equal plot. While we allow explicit (properly rated and warned) scenes and situations, please take note that this does not equal plot. DU is not all about the shipping. We're not anti-shipping, but there is more to gameplay than who is with whom in this here game. Likewise, if you choose to work on romantic relationships ICly, please assure that the ages of participating players fit to the maturity level of a given relationship. I.E.: no scenes between adults and minors should exceed PG-13. This is for actual legal reasons.

7. If you have a problem, talk to a moderator. There's no reason to allow things to explode and become a dramatic situation. DU Moderators have a policy of keeping situations as quiet as one-on-one conversations; the only time issues will turn into a public issue is at the player(s)'s request. For right now, unless it has a TEMPORARY plot purpose (and the mods would prefer it be run past them, first), this is a no-no, unless it's canon. Example: Trish from Devil May Cry was a doppelganger demon, created as an imitation of Dante's (the protagonist of the series) mother, to lure him along through the course of DMC1. This is a case of canon doppelganger...ism. However, Squall from Final Fantasy 8 and Leon from Kingdom Hearts are doppelgangers existing in two different canons. Therefore, we only will accept Squall from FF8. (We may make exceptions, but inqueries should be made with the mods before assuming anything.)

Likewise, only original characters from Kingdom Hearts are allowed at this time. Example: Sora, Riku, Kairi, Organization XIII members, Ansem, etc.
